Firefly Society

Is an organic vehicle created for the purpose of fostering an environment where those interested in healing arts, spiritual and mystic practices of various backgrounds can meet and exchange their knowledge and experiences. There are many paths to enlightenment and many ways to grow together, we seek to connect the lost tribes- we seek to bring a flash of light into darkness.

 

Firefly Society is a loose structure of  people with talent, vision and dedication to exploring the great mysteries. Part of our journey is to share our healing experience and another is to find other Fireflies. 

 

Firefly Society members have expertise in many forms of healing methods, divination and psychotherapy  and wide ranging knowledge of esoterica. While our in-person availability ranges according to our geography, if there's a specific service you're looking for- ask. If we can't provide it to you directly, we will connect you to those who can. If you want to join Firefly Society as a practitioner- ask. 

 

We are strong believers in the concept of Alternative Infrastructures- we are always looking to use new spaces and different formats for meetings, lectures, screenings, healing circles and other workshops. Please feel free to approach us with your ideas.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Firefly Society Reiki

The Firefly Society provides a validated network of quality Reiki practitioners in New York City and Europe.

Each of our practitioners is personally commited to maintaining the highest standards and ethics. 

We do not 'practice self-reiki daily'- Reiki is our way of life and we are happy that  we may benefit you from our hard work on this path.

 

Reiki is an individual practice of spiritual and emotional self-development, different from other methods of healing such as aroma therapy or acupuncture, in that with Reiki the practitioner aspires to become as Light itself.  'Healing others' being both a benefit externally and a way of learning internally. It is the Work of the Reiki initiate.

 

One can say that Firefly Reiki is the vehicle that empowers Firefly Society.  

 

Our fundamental practices are Usui Shiki Ryoho and Usui Reiki Ryoho. We recognize and trace back our lineage to the founder of modern Reiki, Mikao Usui.
